Mind Speak Consulting / A Hero Actionz Production is a St. Louis–based creative strategy and production company founded by Lamar Harris, specializing in culturally grounded storytelling that helps nonprofits, corporations, artists, and civic organizations communicate with clarity, purpose, and impact. Through message development, creative direction, and audience engagement, we help clients articulate who they are, why their work matters, and how it connects to real communities. Mind Speak Consulting leads strategy and narrative development, while A Hero Actionz Production delivers high-quality video, live event production, original music, sound design, and multimedia content.
Mind Speak Consulting produced a promotional video for St. Louis ArtWorks highlighting their Youth Art Fair and the creative talent of participating young artists. The piece was designed to capture the energy, accessibility, and community impact of the event while elevating student voices and visual storytelling.
Mind Speak Consulting produced a COVID-19 public awareness commercial funded by a grant from Health and Human Services Administration and the Missouri Arts Council that aired on major St. Louis television networks. MSC led full production, including scriptwriting, talent acquisition, and video execution, delivering a message that was strategic, audience-centered, and aligned with institutional communication standards.
In 2022, Mind Speak Consulting produced an organizational overview video for Better Family Life, which was featured as a key storytelling moment at the organization’s annual gala. MSC filmed, scripted, staged, produced, and edited the piece to clearly communicate the organization’s mission, programs, and community impact while supporting donor engagement in the room.
Mind Speak Consulting produced a recap video documenting residents, partners, and leaders coming together during a challenging moment to identify shared priorities and neighborhood solutions.
Mind Speak Consulting / A Hero Actionz Production delivered a high-energy recap celebrating St. Louis at Fair St. Louis’ DJ Stage, produced by Lamar Harris & 4Sight Studio. Some of St. Louis’ top DJs and music producers curated a vibe for families and the community to celebrate. A Hero Actionz produced the video recap, while Mind Speak Consulting conceptualized and executed event production, talent acquisition, stage management, and community engagement.
Mind Speak Consulting produced a promotional video for the Ready for Life program, a youth development and workforce-readiness initiative that prepares young people for adulthood, careers, and long-term success.

Backroom Beats is a podcast hosted by Lamar Harris (aka DJ Nune) and C. Jay Conrod, featuring in-depth interviews with musicians, artists, and producers across genres like hip-hop, soul, funk, Latin, and St. Louis-centric Go-Go, offering insights into the local music scene and beyond. The Podcast has had a variety of musicians and vocalists, including Durand Bernarr, Carmen Rodgers, Sy Smith, and many others.
